Camp 2016

hello bloggers today I am going to be posting about my camp.when kahikatea arrived at teapot valley (the camp) we had a break and had a little run around and checked our cabins out.after setting up our cabins we had burgers and chips for dinner yum!after our yummy dinner we had a night activity which is basically was games in the night. we played spotlight and firefly.my cabin mates were Elaia, Da'artagan, Jerico,Wihlez and Noah. on the second day we had to walk the Abel Tasman if you don't know what it is well it is an tourist attraction and also takes 4 hours.here is a photo

on the third day was activity day which was my favorite day because I got to do rock climbing,confidence course,slug guns (score:58/60) and archery. This camp was really great because it helped me make new friends.On Thursday we had another activity day and my activity group had ab sailing,team work activity,pools and slide.on Friday we had to pack up and leave the best camp ever =( well at least I get to see my family again! here is a picture of the camp.

Poverty

Today we had to research about poverty. My class had 8 groups of three and had to report back about the highest ethnic groups in NZ and Poverty in other countries like China and Africa.If you do not know what poverty means it means the state of being extremely poor or peoples basic needs like food,clothing and shelter are not being met.Many people in NZ are struggling with money and food because they get a low income from the jobs they have.One person stated that their is no poverty in New Zealand which I thought was ridiculous because that person has never been to the cities or towns that have people that are struggling
which is really sad. This lesson has helped me by knowing what is happening in my country.

Hello, My name is Semisi. my hobbies are Sport,Eating,Sleeping and Having fun! I live in Ascot park and Have Many friends who live there.I love to listen to Music and play the piano.I have a great family that takes care of me.I Believe in god and go to church every Sunday.I have a great teacher  and a great principle.I Started My new school in 2013 and this year I am a year 8 .I am Samoan,Scottish and Irish.Samoa Is where my parents were born and where my grandmother lives now.My family and God is really important to me. I am sometimes clumsy and don't listen sometimes to my teacher which gets me in trouble. I like to watch many movies but not olden day movies.
